The Dawah Bureau International (DBI) was established in July 2002 in Los Angeles, CA, as a nonprofit organization. We live in a time when Islam is often misrepresented, leading to widespread suspicion of the many law-abiding and peace-loving Muslims. This misunderstanding of Islam and misconceptions about the Holy Quran have created a divide between Muslims and the broader Western world. This situation will not improve on its own; it requires a collective effort from all people who desire peace. At DBI, we are committed to collaborating with all who seek to foster understanding and address concerns about Islam. Our mission is to build bridges of friendship and understanding through respectful dialogue. We reach out to Christian churches, public schools, religious organizations, and local communities, while also organizing Dawah workshops at Islamic centers across the United States.

Together, we write letters, send emails, and make phone calls to introduce ourselves, express our love and respect for Jesus Christ, and request opportunities to visit churches for friendly conversations that promote mutual understanding, peace, and respect.
